We are pleased to announce that The Steven G AYA Cancer Research Fund (SGAYA) will be presenting the AYA Cancer Innovation and Research Award again this year! This Award will be presented to the three top poster and/or oral abstract presenters in the areas of Basic Science, Translational Research and Clinical Research Category at the Critical Mass Conference held this year, November 12-14 in Denver, Colorado.

AYA CANCER INNOVATION AND RESEARCH AWARD
- 1ST PLACE $500
- 2ND PLACE $300
- 3RD PLACE $150
BASIC CRITERIA FOR SUBMISSION:
- The type of Cancer being investigated is considered common among AYA’s (between the ages of 15 to 39 years).
- a. Suggested Cancers to be considered (but not exclusive): Brain Tumors, Leukemia, Colorectal Cancer, Testis Cancer, Thyroid, Female Genital, Sarcoma, Melanoma, Lymphoma and Breast, Other.
- b. Investigations involving basic science, translational research and clinical research / trials are welcome.
- The majority of clinical trial participants are ages 15-39 years.
- The research conclusions will inform AYA Cancer Best Practices.
- Your Name, Institution, Address, Telephone, Email.
You will need the following information for your abstract submission: some abstracts may be requested to give an oral presentation.

EVALUATION CRITERIA:
- Overall presentation
- Did the presenter tell a coherent story based on the findings?
- Is the research hypothesis driven?
- What rationales were used to pursue the line of research?
- What conclusions were obtained through the research?
- Was the study performed in a scientifically sound manner?
- What were the challenges encountered while conducting this research?
- What are the main conclusions? Are the conclusions supported by data presented in the poster?
- What are the future directions?
- Implications
- Future Impact on the AYA Cancer World?
